Sam is a sports fanatic! However, the biggest piece of his heart belongs to baseball. He played for his high school, and continued playing in college, first for San Joaquin Delta, then at the University of Nevada, where he earned a scholarship. He also spent two summers pitching for the Clarinda, Iowa A’s.

So, how does a baseball lover get into insurance? On the baseball field of course! While coaching for a high school team he met Mike, our agency manager, and accepted the position of Commercial Lines Producer. And it’s been a streak of home runs for Comstock ever since!

Sam grew up in Manteca, California. He graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno with a Bachelor of Science in business administration; management. While attending UNR he met his lovely wife, Jeana. They have three adorable children, Makena, Kolton, and Kyson – all in the 10 and under club.

When he’s not chasing the kids around, Sam enjoys hiking, reading and watching sports. His family loves to travel together and are fortunate to have visited some spectacular places – Alaska, Hawaii, Mexico, New Zealand, Dominican Republic and Scotland.
